Description

DA 50 EFI UAV Engine by HFE International comes complete with state of the art electronic fuel injection. Special magnet configuration mounted in the prop hub allow for easy flipping of the prop for starting.

The ECM is powered by a single 3 cell Lipo battery of 1500mah or larger capacity. Total power draw is only 12 watts(1 amp) at full throttle.

The system is tested from sea level to 10,000 ft altitude and temperatures ranging from 10°F to 120°F.


Alternator System Options

200W Power Management Unit

The system can be paired with a 200 W Power Management Unit. The PMU provides three lines with a chosen voltage in the range: 12 – 15 VDC at 15A or 200W max and 4.8 – 7 VDC at 7A or 42W max.

Configurable with LiIon, LiPo, LifePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and Lead Acid Battery.

500W Starter Alternator

This 3 phrase brushless alternator direct drives on the engine crankshaft. The stator mounts to the crankshaft casing, with the rotor spinning on the crankshaft.

The system can be paired with a 500 W Power Management Unit with an integrated starter controller, allowing the engine to start remotely. The PMU provides three lines with a chosen voltage in the range: 24 – 28 VDC at 12.5A or 350W max, 12 – 15 VDC at 9A or 108W, and 4.8 – 8 VDC at 8A or 42W.

Configurable with LiIon, LiPo, LifePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and Lead Acid Battery.
