The ECM (or ECU) is the primary device used for the control of the EFI System.
The Engine Control Module (ECM) is the central computer for the Desert Aircraft EFI system. Controls air and fuel along with spark timing for engines ranging from single cylinder 2 strokes to four cylinder 4 stokes internal combustion engines. Two fuel channels along with two spark outputs, tach output. This unit is sometimes referred to as the ECU or engine control unit. (Note: you must own a Desert Aircraft EFI engine to purchase a replacement ECU. You must also provide the serial number and date of purchase before one will be shipped.)
